![]() ![]() I can only recommend this game if you love bullet-hells AND superhot, otherwise, there's not much here for you. At least with norestart I knew where I ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up, this one seems to come down to how lucky you are for a given level, and doesn't feel 'fair' in the same way. I've gotten more frustrated at this game and the node system than I did at 'norestart' in the original. ![]() 90% of the game feels like it comes down to luck in the upgrades you get to choose from each run, and hoping someone doesn't shoot you in the back because they spawned behind you, However, the level order is randomized each time you fail, and enemies seem to spawn at random until you kill a certain amount, leveling it feeling more like a bullet-hell to survive rather than a puzzle to solve. The whole game revolves around these ideas of 'nodes' which is a pack of 5/10/15 levels you must complete without dying. I don't feel like a badass like I did in the first one upon finishing a level, I feel like "yay. Whereas in the first game it felt a lot like a puzzle to be solved, this one feels like a reflex simulator and I've had very little fun playing it. As of right now I've played for about 20 hours and still haven't finished it, and I don't know if I will. This one (while the story is interesting), feels like a chore. I loved the original superhot so much, i just had to 100% it.
